Help! Custom skins will not show up in my sims 2 pc game. I have tried everything, the sims 2 file maid, etc.?

I have also tried putting it in the sims 2 download folder as someone suggested, it still doesn't work. I can use downloaded objects, but the skins and hair don't show up in the game. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, can someone please help.

dumb the file maid get the q-express installer http://qxpress.modthesims2.com/ and the sims2 clean installer http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/


save to pc then run programs note: if your trying to insatll cc that requires say OFB and you dont have it. it wont work. the clean sweaper will clean up your cc and the q express will put your downloads into the right file from site and right into your game no UNZIPPING required.

hmm well if some downloads show up, then that narrows it down....uhh are you downloading the meshes for the hair/skins? on the page where you are downloading somewhere it should have a mesh that you can download. you need the mesh for a lot of downloads to work! i think mostly hair and clothes need meshes.


like the person above said, get q-express. its soooo easy and saves ALOT of time! (its on modthesims2.com)


so go to modthesims2.com. go to a download, and scroll all the way down. somewhere there should be a red Q. click and download q-express. then when its downloaded, find whatever download you want, scroll and click the red Q and q-express will pop up, then click install and BAM! you're done.
