How do I add skins to yahoo messenger? one was emailed to me but I dont know how to use it, can u get more?

the email i got said this, but I dont know how to "unzip". is there another place you can get more skins?

you will need a zip program such as WinZip which is free for a trial period. And then you extract it into the Yahoo/Shared/Graphics Folder (My Computer, C:drive, Program Files, Yahoo, Shared/Graphics). You can do an internet search for custom skins people have made but be very careful some may contain adware/spyware so always scan them before installing and read the fine print on the website too.





Now Yahoo offers a few alternative colors as well that you can get from their site. These you would extract directly into the C:drive and are set to install automatically into the Shared/Graphic folder (do not put them in that folder itself but only the C:drive or it will not work becuase it is embedded with in other folders). Also note that if you download custom skins they may not work for all versions of yahoo messenger so make sure you are using ones that were made for your version.
