Question about sausage skins?

Do they still use sheep or other animal intestines to make the sausage skins? If so how do u know if the sausages u have bought from the market r made from animal intestines?

I think so but I'm looking on the package and all is says is that it made from chicken, pork, and beef. So maybe there including the casing too

no synthitic skins have been made yet. the only way to ensure no animal skins is to buy without skin.
Reply:Most fresh sausages (Italian, breakfast, bratwurst, etc.) with a consistent size are cased in collagen (non intestine) casings. That is what I use when I make sausage.
