The Sims2, Where can I find custom skins I have downloaded in the game?

I have already downloaded some custome content, but when I try to create a new sim, I am not able to see the custom skins? For instance, the alien skins.

before you pick which house you go in, press o and the download accessablity pop-up will appear. see if they have what you want. hope this helps

when u create a person and choose there skin color there should be a little folder click on that and you should find all the skins that u customized
Reply:just to add to "Duck Boy", there will be a folder next to the darkest skin tone that looks like a little asterisk ( * ) there you will find your downloaded skins
Reply:Custom skins that are downloaded, you have to open the file and double click on the icon to install it then open up the game, go to CAS and click the little asterisk that's by the darkest skin tone. It'll have all the custom skins you've installed in the game.
