Installed the yahoo 7.5 messenger downloaded extra skins but cant use them from the menu option in the messeng

when i try to change the skin of the messenger it shows only 3 choices of the old skins. doesnt show the new ones. help plz. how do i use it....

I had a similar issue and realized I did not successfully download the skins. The error that I made is that I did not select (highlight) the files when WinZip opened. First, ensure that you have WinZip downloaded from www.winzip.com. Then,





-Go to http://messenger.yahoo.com/feat_skins.ph...


-Click 'Download' next to the extra skins that you want


-When the 'File Download' box appears, click 'Open'


-WinZip will open, click on the first file at the top


-Scroll down to the last file, press the 'Shift' key, and click on the last file to highlight all files


-Click on the 'Extract' button at the top


-When the 'Extract' box appears, click on 'Local Disk (C:)', and click 'Extract'


-Go to the 'Messenger' drop down field in Yahoo! Messenger


-Select 'Change Skin'


-The skins you just downloaded will appear in the drop down menu
