Could this be skin Cancer?

I have weird red bloches on the back of my neck and they have been there for a year at least. Could this be skin cancer? If not what is it?

unlikely, but see a doctor. Many people have red marks on back of neck: called 'stork marks' they are a mild birth mark. see a dcotor.

No one here will be able to tell you. ALWAYS see a doctor if you suspect cancer or something wrong.

Reply:skin cancer most likely would be appearing like a mole. It sounds like you have something else. See a dermatologist to be sure though

I was diagnosed w/ squamous cell carcinoma after having a red spot that had been present for about a year biopsied. It looks a lot like the eczema I get now and then. I would see a dermatologist just in case but it's probably nothing to worry about.
Reply:i think not, but at least go see a dermatologist. skin cancer generally appear as a raw meat (like pork chop).. it is either a squamous cell carcinoma or a basal cell carcinoma. red dots dont fit th picture..
Reply:...has it changed??...does it bleed sometimes...i had skin cancer....there are so many different types it is really important to go and see a skin specialist....not your local doctor...i was misdiagnosed with mine at first so i went elsewhere with a second opinion and i was lucky i got it at a level 3...level 1 being early and level 5 being too late....i lost a huge chunk of my leg but i live to tell the tale....go see a specialist!!!

but you should have them checked out since you had them quite a while...
